This policy explains what personal information Access Underwater Ltd ("we", "us") collects through accessunderwater.com, why, and what your rights are under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). We are the data controller. Questions or requests go to info@accessunderwater.com.
Enquiry form: your name, phone number, email address, organisation and your message.
Phone calls and emails: whatever you choose to tell us when you contact us.
Website use (only if you accept cookies): pages visited, how you arrived (for example from Google), device and browser type, approximate location (town or region), and whether you sent an enquiry or tapped to call. Google Analytics reports this to us in aggregate; it does not give us your name.
To reply to your enquiry, quote for and carry out work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
To understand which pages bring in enquiries and improve the website. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give or refuse through the cookie banner.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or send marketing emails without asking first.
GoHorizon, our website and enquiry-management platform, stores form submissions.
Google (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager) processes website-use data if you accept cookies. Google may process data in the United States under the UK-US data bridge.
Cloudflare checks enquiry-form submissions to block spam.
The website sets no analytics cookies unless you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you accept, Google Analytics sets two cookies whose names begin with "_ga", which last up to two years. Your choice is remembered in your browser so we don't ask on every page. Change your cookie choice.
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and any work that follows, and for up to six years after the last contact for business and legal records. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Email info@accessunderwater.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
We will update this page if anything changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
